He was simply mesmerizing. Michael Jordan had that appeal, that tenacity, that style that forced you to watch him whether you were a diehard or a casual fan. There’d be 10 men on the court when the Bulls squared off against an opponent, but you couldn’t help but keep your eyes glued on No. 23. As a viewer at times it would feel like Jordan was the only man on the court. As a player, he attacked the basket like there was no one in his way. Up and over, left or right, Jordan got to the rim whenever he wanted, and his finishes were the stuff of legend. Dr. James Naismith never could’ve imagined someone like Jordan when he first hung peach baskets on a gym wall in 1891. Jordan revolutionized the game as a six-time NBA champion, five-time NBA MVP and 10-time scoring champion.

About the Artist

Combining traditional and non-traditional techniques, Leon "Tes One" Bedore creates contemporary works of art that contrast nature with technology, grime with grace. Allowing himself to find beauty in the mundane, he is able to juxtapose rejected landscapes with figurative illustrations, all the while identifying what is common between the conversing elements. These opposing forces coexist to create paintings that are both symbolic and metaphorical.
